stock tire is a 225/50/16 and you didn't change the sidewall while increasing the diameter of the wheel 1".
resultYou need a smaller sidewall, a 225/45 will be close enough. However, the wheel offsets for that era Z/G cars don't fit that well on the Z32 because their offsets are much lower than we need. This pushes the wheel and tire further out towards the fender. Though it may look like it fits better with the fender, the wheel also moves forward and backward more when you turn the wheel, causing it to hit the fender liners at the front and back. result
